About
A psychological ally, not an app that flatters you.
Shadowmark is a private space to confront self-deception, integrate your shadow, and build self-command. Think of a trusted older brother, or a father who loves you enough to say the thing nobody else will. It helps you see the gap between who you say you are and how you actually behave.
The honesty is the warmth, not in tension with it.
It meets your state
The same advice can land, miss, or wound depending on where you are. Shadowmark reads the state you’re in: apathy, shame, grief, fear, anger, and on toward purpose and love, and matches what it says to what you can actually receive right now. Apathy needs movement. Shame needs dignity. Grief needs permission. It never reads this back to you as a label; it just responds from it.
Voices in its bones
Jung on the shadow and projection. Kierkegaard on despair and self-deception. Nietzsche on self-overcoming. Schopenhauer, Watts, Machiavelli, the Stoics, and evolutionary realism. You can choose whose lens you want, or hear from all of them.
Yours alone
Your conversations are encrypted at rest and isolated to you. No one is reading over your shoulder. This is a place to be honest.
